Het klinkt zo vanzelfsprekend: de doeltaal gebruiken om leerlingen een vreemde taal effectiever te laten leren. Alleen: werkt het wel zo? Het gaat namelijk niet om de kwantiteit van het doeltaalgebruik, maar om de kwaliteit: wanneer de docent de doeltaal bewust en didactisch verantwoord aanwendt, ontstaat er veel leerpotentieel.
