As of 1 September 2024, Uitgeverij Coutinho has merged with Koninklijke Boom uitgevers. By bringing together the two family-owned publishing houses, Coutinho and Boom, a strong Dutch publisher has been created, serving the markets for higher education, Dutch as a second language, literacy support for adults with low literacy skills, and adult education.
