Helder journalistiek schrijven is een ambacht. Met Journalistiek schrijven voor het hoger onderwijs leren hbo- en wo-studenten en afgestudeerden begrijpelijk, toegankelijk en aantrekkelijk schrijven over uiteenlopende onderwerpen. De theorie komt aan bod waar dat nodig is, de nadruk ligt op vaardigheden.

Statistische toetsen in economische toepassingen behandelt de basisbegrippen uit de statistische toetsingstheorie. Zo komen onder meer betrouwbaarheidsintervallen en statistische toetsen aan bod. Ook is er aandacht voor toepassingen uit de bedrijfseconomie, accountancy, logistiek en commerciële economie. Er is ruim aandacht voor het inzetten van Excel bij allerlei statistische berekeningen.
